I forbindelse med Stockholm Design Week ble designeren David Ericsson kåret til Årets designer av magasinet Residence, blant annet for sine tremøbler for Verk, Gemla og Gärsnäs.
«Jeg synes tre er et av de mest interessante materialene. Men tre er et stort område, alle tresorter har sine identiteter og utgangspunkt og styrker», sier han til avisen.
Andre vinnere inkluderer Årets produsent; Skrufs glassverk, Årets belysning; L’Art Plissé av Folkform og årets tilbehør; Rutete The Discreet Charm av Karin Mamma Andersson for Svenskt Tenn.
